BETH
New Patient Coordinator |
As Reading Orthodontic
Group’s New Patient Coordinator, Beth has
the privilege to greet new patients on their initial
visit to our office. It’s her job to help
alleviate some of the “jitters” they
may have by explaining a little bit about our
doctors and office. When active treatment begins,
she assists families in establishing payment arrangements
that meet their needs and is responsible for patient
related finances throughout the course of orthodontic
treatment. She has been involved in the orthodontic
field since 1977.
Beth enjoys a busy life away from the office
with an active family and volunteering for several
non-profit causes in the community. When “spare”
time can be found, Beth relaxes with family, friends
or a good book. |

ROBIN
Treatment Coordinator
 |
Robin
has been the Treatment Coordinator with Reading
Orthodontic Group since April 2001. Always enthusiastic,
she is knowledgeable and helpful with treatment,
financing and insurance questions. Leaving our
office after the initial visit, an educated patient
is her primary objective.
Outside the office, you might catch Robin dancing
with her husband Gene and spending time with their
son Patrick, or singing (with or without a microphone).
She also loves traveling, tennis, walking and
watching the latest DVD movie releases. |

CHERYL
Administrative Assistant, Correspondence
 |
Cheryl
began her career at Reading Orthodontic Group
in January 1980. She did leave us for a short
time after having her son, but returned June 1984.
Her responsibility is one of keeping the lines
of communication open between ROG and your dentist.
Your dentist is always updated on your ongoing
orthodontic treatment thanks to Cheryl.
On weekends, she can be found camping (when weather
permits) with her husband Dennis, son Matthew
and dog Sydney or just puttering in the garden. |

KEVIN
Orthodontic Dental Technician |
As half of the Dynamic Duo in our onsite lab, chances are you may never see
Kevin in the office. “Whistling While He
Works”, he has been creating orthodontic
appliances for our practice since 1982.
His creativity goes beyond our lab; most people
do not know that Kevin is also a talented jewelry
maker. He enjoys spending time with his wife Valerie
and daughter Emilie. Taking it easy, fly-fishing
or canoeing at Leaser Lake is his idea of a relaxing
day. |

DAVID
Orthodontic Dental Technician
 |
David is the “quiet” half of our
lab’s Dynamic Duo. Labeled as the “new
guy” in the lab, he has only been with
us since September 1987. We occasionally see
David roaming the halls, but most of his time
at ROG is spent working quite inconspicuously
(with that other guy) making orthodontic appliances.
When not at his day job, David leads an active
life skiing, mountain biking, tennis and swimming
(not necessarily in that order).

TRACY
Records Technician
 |
A certified X-ray Technician, Tracy joined
ROG in 1993 and is one of the first people you
will meet when starting as a new patient. She
always has a smile ready to help put our patients
at ease. Known as ROG’s “personal
photographer”, she will take your digital
photos and x-rays. Trained as an orthodontic
assistant, you might also find Tracy helping
out in our treatment room.
Shopping USED to be Tracy’s passion and
now it is her new daughter Alyson. You may be
able to spot the girls strolling malls and craft
shows or cheering on Aly’s dad, Bart during
the summer at Maple Grove Raceway.

ELLEN
Scheduling Assistant |
Ellen started working in the orthodontic field in 1989, and we have been fortunate
to have her as one of our Front Desk "ROGettes"
since April 2000. You can hear the smile in her
voice when she assists you with your scheduling
needs.
Originally from Downingtown, Ellen attended East
Stroudsburg University. She and her children Daria
and Joe, and spirited Schnauzer Nick, live in
Reinholds. When not chauffeuring the kids to Cocalico
events, Ellen enjoys meeting with her book club,
walking, being creative in and outside of her
house, and watching the Sixers. |

CHRIS
Accounts Receivable/Scheduling Assistant

|
Chris
has been a part of the ROG Team since 1995. Having
had braces herself as an adult, she knows first
hand what a big decision adult treatment can be.
Judging by her smiling face, Chris thinks it’s
a great investment.
When not posting your accounts,
Chris loves dining out, traveling and spending
time with her husband Gary and their two daughters,
Courtney and Brittney. In the summer she is never
too far from a beach chair. |

TRACEY
Sterilization Technician |
Meet our own “Mrs. Clean”
who joined the ROG team in August 2000. Tracey
is in charge of keeping our sterilization procedures
within the guidelines set forth by OSHA. Always
willing to give the orthodontic assistants a
helping hand, they don’t know what they
ever did without her.
Tracey graduated from Weidner University,
and enjoys spending time with her husband Harry,
and their two sons, Andrew and Chris. Some of
her favorite past times include, walking, shopping,
reading, and, of course, “cleaning her
house” (just kidding).

CAROL
Orthodontic Assistant
|
A lifelong Boyertown resident, Carol has been
an integral part of Reading Orthodontic Group
since 1982 after graduating from Berks Vo-Tech
with a certification in dental assisting. As
one of the senior members of our staff, Carol
has seen many new technological changes over
the years that keep her work as a chair-side
assistant challenging and fun. Even after all
of her years straightening teeth, she still
finds it exciting when patients of all ages
finish treatment and another fantastic smile
leaves ROG. The best part of her job…”the
people”.
Daughter, Jessica keeps Carol and her husband
Bryan, on their toes. She and her family reside
in the Oley Valley and are avid Flyers fans.
A talented cake-decorator, Carol enjoys gardening.
When they need a get-away they head to the shore
or the peaceful mountains of Potter County.

CHERYL
Orthodontic Assistant |
You might start to see a trend at
Reading Orthodontic Group; we have the reputation
for longevity of employees and Cheryl is one
of our loyal assistants. Hired in June of 1988,
she aids in the training and education of our
new orthodontic assistants. Her efforts are
always appreciated, especially when the assistants
get their own patients for the first time.
Cheryl collects Longaberger Baskets
and Cherished Teddies, but always has time for
her husband Michael and their two boys, Steven
and Justin.

WILMARILYN
Orthodontic Assistant
|
Certified from Ponce Paramedical
College as a dental assistant, Wilma (a.k.a.
“ROG’s PowerPoint Queen”)
is a great addition to our staff. She joined
ROG in August 2001 and offers each patient a
bright smile and encouraging conversation, pitching
in as a translator for our Spanish-speaking
patients.
Keeping warm is a top priority
for Wilma (it’s much colder here than
her native Puerto Rico), but she also enjoys
yoga, reading and jogging or spending time watching
movies with her family.

VALERIE
Orthodontic Assistant |
Joining our staff in August of 2001,
Val most enjoys watching patient self-esteem
and confidence increase as their orthodontic
treatment progresses. She thinks that ROG offers
the best in technology to their patients and
their staff.
A graduate of West Chester University, Val is a single mom to her kitty, Seymour. An avid Flyers' fan (that's what we like to hear), she enjoys alternative rock bands, surfing the Internet, choppers and fleamarketing. Ask her about her collection of gargoyles and tattoos.
